Devauden is a village in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire. This website aims to provide local information to the residents of Devauden and the surrounding area including, Kilgwrrwg, Wolvesnewton, and Itton.
Thursday Teas are back in Devauden Village Hall and are usually held on the first Thursday in the month from 2 to 4pm.

John Rowlands, a stalwart and influential member of our community, sadly passed away on 13th August at the age of 85. John's funeral was held in Devauden on 11 September 2025 and his friend John Brooks wrote the following eulogy which he read at the service.
Newport Bus has announced an extension to the timetable of the bus service through Devauden. The timetable now includes a 16.35 service from Chepstow arriving in Monmouth at. 17.30, Monday to Friday. This bus departs Devauden for Monmouth at 16:52.

Ken Reece, a longtime member and servant of our community passed away on Monday, 19th August aged 87 years.
Sadly, Jeff Miles, long time resident of Devauden, passed away during the first week of August. His funeral will be held on 13th September.
Local residents have shown their appreciation for the hard work by Rob, driver of the number 65 bus until 20th March.
The Chepstow Walkers Are Welcome Pathcare team has continued work on improving the footpaths around Devauden.
In late 2023 Chepstow Walkers Are Welcome agreed to work with Monmouthshire County Council and look after a section of the county with regards to the public rights of way network.
A group of local residents has recently formed the Llanishen Area Public Rights of Way Project. The group aims to ensure that the public right of way network in and around the village of Llanishen is clearly signposted, accessible and well maintained for the enjoyment of residents and visitors to the area.
