Devauden Mini Library is now operating from the Ferrard Room in Devauden Village Hall.
Candidate Sites for Housing
Last year Monmouthshire County Council invited housing developers to put forward ‘candidate sites’ to be considered for housing development in the Monmouthshire Replacement Local Development Plan (RLDP). The Council has now published a register of these sites, three of which are in Devauden.
Stitchin' Time
A sewing circle meets at Devauden Village Hall on Monday afternoons from 2 to 4 pm. Stitch, cuppa and natter £2.
Try Your Hand at Short Mat Bowls
Devauden Short Mat Bowls Club is looking for new players. The club meets on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm at Devauden Village Hall. New members are always welcome so why not come along and try your hand?
All you need is a pair of flat shoes. All other equipment can be provided and no experience is necessary.
St James' Church
St James' Church is in a group of five parishes which also includes the churches in St Arvans, Penterry, Itton and Kilgwrrwg. Two services are usually held each month.

Llanishen Village Shop
A new village shop has opened its doors in Llanishen. The shop offers groceries, including fresh bread and vegetables, and well as newspapers, wine and beer.
Alfred Roberts
John Roberts has sent some photographs of Devauden taken by his grandfather, Alfred Roberts, in 1943. Alfred lived in Devauden before emigrating to the United States in 1911. Alfred Roberts’ father, Thomas, was a stone mason and was involved in construction of Beaufort House in Devauden.
