Would you like to grow some vegetables but don't have any plants? Help is at hand from Adam Alexander in Itton. He will have a surplus of a number of traditional as well as heritage and heirloom vegetables available from early May.
He will leave some at the shop in Devauden and others will be available directly from him in Itton. All proceeds from the sale of plants will go to charity.
"I will appreciate the return of any pots and trays, especially root trainers. These can be left with Debbie or Leigh or by my gate in School Lane. I am happy to grow runner bean plants of Welsh heirloom varieties to order. The cost will be £4.00 for a tray of 20 plants. As they need to be started as soon as possible, please email me if you would like some. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I am growing more lettuce and several brassica types for autumn and winter use and some leeks which should be available from late May."
"If you have never grown any vegetables but would like to try I am posting simple guidance and advice for growing lettuce beans and peas on my website www.veggingoutwithadam.com."
