Would you or someone you know be interested in attending a Digital Skills Club at Devauden Village Hall?  If so The Digital Volunteers CIC need to hear from you.

Monmouthshire County Council and The Digital Volunteers CIC are planning on delivering Basic and Advanced Digital Skills in weekly clubs for Monmouthshire residents. The clubs will be free and in those village halls up and down the county which have WiFi connectivity.

The clubs will follow a national Basic Skills framework developed by Go ON UK  and cover the following skills:

• managing digital information

• communicating over the internet

• buying and selling goods online

• increasing independence and confidence by finding digital solutions

• creating digital content

• e-safety

• advanced skills e.g. creating websites, games, animation, coding

The Digital Volunteers CIC is currently approaching groups including Community Councils in order to conduct a viability study as we must demonstrate a need for digital skills clubs in the community.

Please complete the survey which is posted on the MCC website's libraries page.

Hard copies of the survey are available for you to pass on to people who aren't online so that they can complete the survey.  So, if you know someone who is interested , please contact :
