Monmouthshire County Council will be extending the use of reusable recycling bags to more areas, including Devauden.

On Tuesday 5th December household in Devauden will be delivered new bags and a leaflet on their recycling collection day. Recycling wardens will then monitor the collection rounds the week after and resolve any issues.

There will be no changes to collection days. However, food waste will be collected on a separate vehicle compared to red and purple recycling so it may be picked up at a different time of the day. So residents might see their food waste has been collected but not the red and purple bags because the vehicle has not got there yet.
