The Fountain Inn at Trellech Grange has a special Valentines menu on Saturday 12th February.

The meal costs £25.95 per person which includes a small bottle of red and white wine or a bottle of prosecco.  Booking is essential so call Steve and Jill on 689303 to reserve your table.

Starters
(all served with Jill's homemade bread)
Pickled walnuts, feta cheese, pomello, parma ham and baby tomatoes drizzled with a balsamic and garlic reduction.
Slow cooked sticky pork ribs marinated in Jamaican spices and rum.
A selection of smoked salmon, gravalax and fresh prawns served with crispy salad leaves drizzled with a dill and mustard dressing
Spiced courgette, tofu, pineapple skewers with a sweet chilli sauce. (vegan)
Homemade cream of asparagus soup served with crispy croutons. (vegetarian)

Main courses
Seafood platter; A selection of griddled half lobster, garlic crevettes, pan fried bass, salmon, tuna and calamari. Large green lipped mussels and crispy deep fried crab cakes. ( This dish is made for two to share only)
Butternut squash, fig, dates, apricots, pine nuts, chickpea and mango Moroccan spiced curry served with pilau rice, onion bhaji, and deep fried spiced cauliflower florets. (vegan)
10 oz sirloin steak served with seasonal side salad, baby button mushroom, garden peas and home cut chips.
Poached chicken breast stuffed with chorizo, spinach and cream cheese, served with asparagus spears, tender stems, roasted roots, butternut puree drizzled with a
chorizo infused cream.
Roasted tomato, pine nut and aubergine stacks served with a crispy seasonal salad and sweet potato wedges (vegan)

Strawberry shortbread cheesecake.
Tangy lemon and ginger fluffy mousse.
Red devil and black cherry rum gateau.
