Many thanks to all the people who have shown an interest in the forming of a singing/music group in Devauden. There have been enough replies to try to move things further. Devauden Village Hall has been booked for an informal get together on Friday 17th Sept from 7 to 9 pm.

If you would like to take part then please come along to discuss your ideas for the group's repertoire. It is expected that the leadership of the group will be shared with as many people as feel able. People will be encouraged to join in with their musical instruments when the group is established and there is an intention to hold the occasional open-mic. session.

Those attending the inaugural meeting have been asked to make a note of three songs that they would like to sing. There will be no requirement to read music and there will be no auditions.

The event will follow all the current Welsh covid rules and you should bring a face covering.

Please feel free to bring a drink and a glass. Tell your friends, don’t be shy, the more the merrier.
