  • The Devauden Coronavirus Support Group has been established to offer help to anyone in our community who may need it during the COVID-19 pandemic. As well as offering practical assistance the presence of the Support Group in our community will provide people with the reassurance that help will be available for them if they need it.

For more information visit the Devauden Coronavirus Support Group Page on this website.

  • The Group is an informal group of individual volunteers who are coordinating their efforts to support households in Devauden and the surrounding communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. As well as offering practical assistance the presence of the Support Group in our community will provide people with the reassurance that help will be available for them if they need it.

  • Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus outbreak,  Devauden Races 2020 has been postponed.

  • Leigh and Debra are doing an important job for the village by keeping the shop open, and we are all extremely grateful for that. It’s important that we don’t put them or other customers in jeopardy when we use the shop. If you visit the shop you find that procedures have now been put in place to protect both staff and customers.  The shop opening hours have also been altered so that Leigh and Debra are able to provide their more vulnerable customers with home deliveries.

  • The directory has been compiled by Monmouthshire County Council’s Community and Partnership Development Team.  It is a directory of resources and/or organisations that can provide support to people in need of help, whether that’s financial advice, mental health support, advice for people living with dementia or a range of other kinds of information.

  • Not surprisingly, most events and church services in Devauden have been cancelled.

  • The post office van has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will not be visiting the village from the week beginning 6 April onward.
