  • Church Fundraising

    Repairs are needed to the roof, porch, windows and woodwork of Devauden Church and volunteers are being sought to help with fundraising, grant applications etc.

    St James, Devauden is in a group of five parishes which includes the parishes of St Arvans, Penterry, Itton and Kilgwrrwg. Two services are usually held each month in Devauden either in St James itself or in Village Hall.

  • Devauden Calendar 2023

    Devauden calendars are on sale now at Devauden Village Shop.  The calendar features photographs by local residents and all profits will go towards the repairs needed for St James church.

    Devauden calendars are on sale now at Devauden Village Shop.  The calendar features photographs by local residents and all profits will go towards the repairs needed for St James church.

  • Devauden Recipe Book

    The Devauden Recipe Collection is available to buy in the Devauden Shop.  The book contains over 75 fabulous recipes contributed by local cooks and is being sold to raise funds for the building work at St. James Church.

  • Parish Questionnaire Results

    The Friends of St James Devauden would like to thank everyone who filled in a questionnaire about the church building.  A total 63 questionnaires were completed which is a very high return for a survey of this type. The full breakdown of results is available using the link below.

  • Sponsor a Slate

    St James Church invites you to become a part of history by sponsoring a slate to help fund the much-needed renewal of the church roof.

    St James' Church is in a group of five parishes which also includes the churches in St Arvans, Penterry, Itton and Kilgwrrwg.  Two services are usually held each month.

  • VE Day 75th Anniversary

    The names of the men from Devauden who died in WWII are recorded on a memorial window in the church.  Although it was not possible to open the church for the VE Day 75th Anniversary Peter Kenington produced some posters for the outside of the building.
