The following report has been received from PC Mike Cowburn.

Happy New Year. I am pleased to say that there are only a few crimes to report over the new year period - although this is not much comfort if you happen to be a victim. Accidents have continued to occur on the icy roads. In one case intoxication was clearly a factor.

4/1 Theft of a carpet cleaner from an insecure garage in St Arvans.
1/1 Theft of 1000 litres of kerosene from a tank near Devauden. Fix a lock to your tank if possible - although pipes may still be cut.

Surgeries

At Devauden Green from around 12 noon to 1 pm on Sunday 10th January. CSO Andy Jones will be available to discuss any issues.

At St Arvans Village Shop from around 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday 10th January. CSO Andy Jones will be available to discuss any issues.

At Shirenewton Recreation Hall from 3 pm to 3.30 pm on Sunday 10th January. Joint Police / Council Surgery followed by a walk around the Village. PC Mike Cowburn will be available to discuss any issues.
