Yes, it’s time for the annual cricket series between Devauden and Kilgwrrwg again. That time when nerves are tested in a public trial of skill and strength. With a hot summer forecast hopes are high that this year all three matches will reach their always nail-biting conclusions.

Put this year’s dates in your calendar (or blackberry) to make sure you’re there and part of the excitement.

The matches (weather permitting of course) will be on:
 Sat July 4 – 3pm in the Birches field, Kilgwrrwg - postponed
 Fri Aug 7 – 6.30pm in the Clark field, Devauden - cancelled
 Sun Aug 30 – 1.30pm in the Clark field, Devauden (please note the change of date)

With thanks to the Tyzack and Clark families for generously allowing us to use their fields. Cricketers if you could be there half an hour before the advertised times it would help your captain’s blood pressure enormously.
